Boston Free Films: 11/11 to 11/18
Lots of good stuff. BU Tournees French Film Festival. UMass Boston Film Festival. Boston Anarchist Film Festival. Library screening with live music. Filmmakers telling us about their work.

My dance card is already quite full. Probably more to come.

* Tufts Film Series screens "District 9" this evening and "American Psycho" and "The Dark Knight Rises" next weekend. Check tuftsfilmseries.com Wednesday or Thursday for updates.
* The Boston Anarchist Film Festival continues at Simmons today.
* Wellesley Cinephile Sundays continue today with "Stalker".
* Tufts will screen "The Lottery" tonight . MOVED TO MONDAY. RSVP requested.
* The BU Tournees Film Festival continues on Monday with "La Princesse de Montpensier".
* Brandeis will show "The Law In These Parts" on Monday with the director present.
* The BPL South Boston Jack Lemmon Film Series continues with "The Odd Couple" on Tuesday afternoon.
* The Harvard Film Archive VES screenings continue on Tuesday with "Moonblack" & "Bless Their Little Hearts".
* Harvard Kennedy School will screen "Call me Kuchu" on Tuesday with the filmmakers on hand.
* Tufts Library will screen "Endless Dreams and Water Between" on Tuesday.

* The BPL Honan-Allston Midday Movie on Wednesday is "Imaginary Heroes".
* MIT will show "Kokoyaku - High School Baseball" on Wednesday.
* Emerson will screen the short film "The Work of 1000" with the subject and filmmaker on hand.
* The Lucy Parsons Center Radical Film Night continues on Wednesday with "Emperor Of The North".
* MIT LSC will host a special screening of "21" on Wednesday with the film inspiration (an MIT alumnus) and the writer of the book.
* The BU Palestine Film Festival will show three short films on Wednesday.
* Fisher College will screen "Decoding Dacia: Romania's Lost Heritage" with filmmakers on Thursday. RSVP required.
* The Coolidge Corner Library Senior Cinema series continues on Thursday afternoon with "Hannah and Her Sisters".
* BPL South Boston Barbara Stanwyck Film Series continues on Thursday with "Stella Dallas".
* MIT Urban Planning Film Series continues on Thursday with "Truck Farm".
* Harvard Film Archive will host An Evening with Christian Boltanski followed by a reception on Thursday.
* The BATV Bibliophile Cinema screening this Thursday is "Jane Eyre".
* The Kathryn Schultz Gallery in Cambridge will show "The Horse's Mouth" on Thursday. RSVP required.
* The BU Tournees Film Festival Thursday screening is "The Women on the 6th Floor".

* BU Tournees Film Festival Friday film is "The Artist".
* On Saturday, the Somerville Library Film Series continues with "Scent of a Woman" with live musical accompaniment.
* Next week's BPL Copley Square Family Movie Sundays film is "The Lorax".
* Next Sunday, the Brookline Library will screen "Voices from the Basement".

... looks at the calendar and is disappointed to find that The Lottery is not a film adaptation of Shirley Jackson's short story.
